Fred Cutler, the president, had a wonderful career as a banker for 25 years before becoming a CPA. His career included many years as a commercial loan officer at such fine banks as Chase and Wells Fargo. He later became the Senior Loan Officer at two San Diego independent banks, responsible for all loans made including commercial, individual and real estate, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. During his banking career, he was twice president of the prestigious banking organization, Risk Management Associates.
In 1995 Fred joined Price Waterhouse Coopers as an entry level accountant. Within two years he was named a Senior Accountant and obtained the title of Certified Public Accountant. In 1997 he struck out on his own as an independent contractor and in 1999 founded CUTLER & SHANNON, LLP which operated successfully for ten years. In 2009 he founded CUTLER & COMPANY INC.
Fred is a member of the Board of Management of the Copley YMCA. He is a past president of Old Mission Rotary Club, and a past member of the Board of Directors of the California Society of CPA’s.
